day nine-post transplant

My mood and appetite are still the same. With all the aching and my proctitis (inflammation of the back exit) problem, I have difficultty of moving around. My sitting position also always has to be changed. The best position is lie flat and quite.

My hairs started to fall off today and left my head with patchy hairs. I have ask the nurse to shave my head this afternoon.

Sorry, if I didn't response to call or sms.....

Ajak,
Assalamualaikum........
Don't worry about the hair. You probably may look more sexy without it. Just kidding. Remember what Gazza used to say when we commented his hair-do whenever he had new hair-cut. Anyway, Sabar menghadapi ujian Allah adalah terlebih utama daripada sabar orang yang mengerjakan ibadah.
Wassalam,
Ashraf

Hi Wolfpup,

Need not to worry about the hair.

Perhaps our heroes gang should have head shaving too - so we look alike and having the same high spirit!

New hair will grow, just same as new great events and experiences and which will come to you soon.

Lie flat and quiet, supine? or prone?

Sabar, Wolfpup. Cheer up!

Dear Wolfpup,

Think of all the money you can save on shampoo! The new look is sure to bring out your eyes- the window to your soul.

Sending you lots of love.

Hi Wolfpup,

new cells, new hair, lots to look forward to.

You are doing a great job. Keep resting and dream of a day very soon when we will all be together again.

Hi again,

Wanted to add that my newborn was bald. Then her hair stuck straight up like a mohawk (looked very chic and so will you). Now, she is full of hair...like you will be. But hopefully no one will make you wear pink barrettes like I do to her!!! :):)

Take good care,
Erin

Dear Wolfpup

I remember those days post transplant in Sept 1993. It was a tough 2 weeks post bmt. Most of all was my anxiety about grafting.

Hang in there
